GMBC Education Opportunities
The basic concept of our Education Ministry to introduce everyone, at all ages to the Lord, toward a mature and spirit filled walk in Christ. The goal is to assist all people in becoming disciples of Jesus, wise. discerning and loving.
Our Sunday School Department focuses on providing an organization to carry out some fundamental ministry tasks, on behalf of and in support of the Education Ministry. These include Bible study, ministry, outreach, and fellowship, all of which can be accomplished more effectively and more personally in a small group setting, rather than in the larger congregation. Our Sunday School Department is organized to meet life needs of all age groups, babies through senior adults, in settings and using learning methods appropriate for each developmental level.
Women's Missionary Union
WMU® offers organizations and approaches, as well as ministries, that enable every member of the church to learn about missions, become involved in missions, and live a mission-based lifestyle. WMU offers many opportunities to fulfill the six areas of missions’ focus that are at the heart of missions’ education.

L.I.F.T. (Ladies In Fellowship Together)
The ladies of our church meet from time to time to have a special time of prayer and fellowship. They also write cards and personal notes to our visitors and those experiencing a specific need.
Baptist Men
Baptist Men on Mission are the men of the church taking seriously God’s call to be the husbands, fathers, mentors and churchmen who He has charged them to be. Being a godly man is the foundation to being part of the Baptist Men on Mission, because a godly man will be a godly husband, a godly father, and a godly mentor.
Youth Ministries
The youth of Galilee meet each Sunday morning and Wednesday night, to have a time of fellowship, bible study, prayer and equipping to be champions for Christ on their school campuses, in their families as well as in their neighborhoods.
Iron Man Ministry
The men of our church support the New River Baptist Association in this ministry to build positive relationships with other brothers in Christ, have a time of godly fellowship, engage in prayer time for their individual and collective needs as well as become equipped to be more like Christ in the home, on the job and in the community.
