Our Core Values
Biblical. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God, completely true and free from errors. As such, the Bible is the foundation of all leadership and teachings within the Church. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Hebrews 6:18)
Gospel Driven. We believe the Gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ, which we are all called to share through evangelism and discipleship. (Matthew 9:37-38, 28:18-20, Mark 6:15)
Faithfulness. We hold steadfast to our trust in God's plan, that having made a profession of faith in Christ and walking faithfully with Him, we have the joyful hope of eternal life in Heaven with Jesus. (Psalm 42:11, Romans 12:2, Hebrews 11, Jeremiah 29:11)
Prayer. We believe our prayer and worship enable us to have direct communication with our Lord through the Holy Spirit. (John 4:23-24, Romans 9:26-27, Psalm 145:18, Romans 10:13, Romans 12:1)
Integrity. We believe in integrity in character. We serve the Lord in sincerity and trust by courageously honoring Him through our obedience to His written Word, providing accountability and remaining committed to being His Church wherever we go. (Joshua 24:14, Romans 12:1-2, Deuteronomy 10:12-13)
Selfless Service. We believe in selfless service to God and others through community outreach and world-wide mission involvement. We believe in generous giving, as led by the Holy Spirit, to meet the needs of others. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, John 13:1-7, 1 Peter 4:10-11)
Authentic Relationships. We strive to the Christ-like in all we do through our compassion and love for others. We realize we are all forgiven through Christ's death on the cross. Likewise, we are called to share that same understanding and forgiveness with a non-judgemental spirit and fellowship with each other. We are located on Highway 53 (Burgaw Highway) in the Southwest community.
As you are heading toward Burgaw, NC, you will pass Southwest High School
on your right and then Old Maplehurst Road on your left.
At that point, immediately begin looking to your right.
We are located diagonally across the street from the Speedway gas station.
