Chili Cook-off / Dessert Action / Movie Night
 
Who:                 Open to all Galilee members, friends, and family
When:              10 April – Saturday
Judges:            To be determined (if you are not making a pot of chili for judging, you are a candidate)
Proceeds:         ALL PROCEEDS GO TO ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING – NORTH AMERICAN MISSIONS

Rules:              Chili Cook-off – This can be a family entry or an individual entry. It does not have to be traditional (example of non-traditional might be white bean chicken chili). All entries should provide enough for sale after judging. Crock pot size would be great. (Winner if cook-off will receive a $25.00 Chili’s gift card)
                          Dessert Auction – Make your favorite dessert, or one you feel others would desire. We will stage them in the fellowship hall for bidding during the time chili sales are going on. It will be a silent auction with a minimum bid being $10.00 (remember, this is for a good cause). Specific details will be available the day of event, in the event of a tie, those individuals will be given the opportunity to increase their bid, again, the bids will be silent. (Entry that brings in the highest bid will receive a $25.00 gift card for Darryl’s Bakery)
 
Event Schedule
                        3:45 til 4:15 – Deliver chili and desserts to church for set up
                        4:30 – Bless food / Judging commences
                        5:00 – Open doors for chili sales / auction
                        5:15 – Announce the winner of chili cook-off
                        6:00 – Clean-up of fellowship hall commences / Auction bids closed
                        6:20 – Winners of dessert auction announced
                        6:30 – Movie commences

Cost:  Chili Supper – This is a fund raiser for Annie Armstrong but we also feel it is a time of fellowship so the cost will be whatever you feel it is worth to you.

Movie – "Overcomer " (The Kendall Brothers) The movie, bottles water, and popcorn are free.  If you would like to make a donation to the Annie Armstrong Offering the donation box will be available.

Dessert Auction – Be prepared to pay your bid
